This spent fly keeper is magnetic with a plastic outershell including a spring loaded keeper ring.  Hook or hang it anywhere you need to keep track of spent or used flys while you are on the water, keeping them seperate from your fly box to dry and ready for inspection after the day.  Also a temporary place for forceps or nippers.  If you drop a fly use this to find it in the grass at your feet!
